JON and JAY RECOGNIZED BY CHAMBERS & PARTNERS

RLT is pleased to announce that the 2016 edition of Chambers USA, which lists America’s Leading Lawyers For Business, and is a highly-respected legal directory based on in-depth interviews with in-house counsel and private practice attorneys, ranked Jonathan I. Rabinowitz (Band 2) and Jay L. Lubetkin (Band 3) as “Notable Practitioners” in New Jersey.  The internationally respected guide described Jon as “very bright and thoughtful,” adding: “He understands the problem and dissects it very quickly,” with a particular expertise in real estate reorganizations. Jay was described as a “very articulate and good on his feet,”” with experience in Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcies, acting for debtors, partnerships, liquidators and others.

RLT was classified as a Band 3 firm (up from Band 4 in 2015), ahead of many larger well-respected firms, and was described as “
deliver[ing] effective, timely and beneficial services that yielded favorable results.”  RLT was also noted has “hav[ing] tremendous knowledge and [the ability to] do timely and efficient work.”
Chambers USA attributed RLT’s recognition to its recent representation of client IDEA Boardwalk in relation to a series of Chapter 11 bankruptcies filed by the Revel casino in Atlantic City, in which it successfully reversed a bankruptcy court order that would have negatively affected the tenant’s possessory interests.  Chambers USA also noted that RLT acted on behalf of the principal of Supreme Manufacturing Company in its Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings and related litigation.
This is the sixth year in a row that RLT has been recognized by Chambers & Partners for its accomplishments in the practice of bankruptcy law.
