While the market may have cooled for some bankruptcy firms, not RLT. In recent months, the firm filed five (5) separate Chapter 11 cases – Enor Corporation, United Support Solutions, Inc., BDC Shared Services LLC, 7 North Willow Corporation, and IE Test, LLC. These cases remain active.
In In re BDC Shared Services LLC, and its companion case, In re Regnis, RLT, led by Jay L. Lubetkin, sought to use the bankruptcy process to preserve a valuable dentistry and orthodontist business which serves fourteen (14) dental practices and assists tens of thousands of patients, as well as employs one hundred fourteen (114) people.
In In re Enor Corporation, Jeffrey A. Cooper and Barry J. Roy, represent a New Jersey manufacturing corporation with locations in both New Jersey and South Carolina which manufactures plastic toys for children and employs 100 hourly workers. Enor has just begun the restructuring process and intends to restructure at least the core business in its New Jersey operation.
In In re United Support Solutions, Inc., Barry J. Roy and Jay L. Lubetkin filed a Chapter 11 for a precision sheet metal manufacturer in order to preserve its going concern value pending a sale of substantially all of its assets pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 363. Since the filing of the case, the Debtor identified a stalking horse bidder, held an auction and had the sale of substantially all of its assets approved.
In In re 7 North Willow Corporation and In re Ahh Pizz, Jay L. Lubetkin, filed Chapter 11 cases for an Italian restaurant chain with locations in Montclair and Denville in order to propose a joint plan of reorganization.
In In re IE Test, LLC, Jay L. Lubetkin, filed a Chapter 11 case in order to preserve the financing of the Debtor, which designs and builds test equipment for electronics for large general contractors primarily doing business with the United States Department of Defense.
