On August 21, 2017, the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors selected Jeffrey A. Cooper and the firm as its counsel in the Chapter 11 case filed by AMG International, Inc., case no. 17-25816 (JKS). AMG, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, is a leading designer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of award and recognition products including trophy components, plastic and metal figures, resin awards, ribbons and executive gift items. The creditor body, scheduled as $4 million, includes suppliers from Asia and the United States. The case was filed on August 3, 2017 and, thus far, RLT has assisted the parties in negotiating a final cash collateral order that will allow AMG to continue to operate as a going concern as it works towards proposing a viable exit strategy. AMG, which has approximately 35 employees, had gross revenues in 2016 of approximately $13 million.
