Often a business filing Chapter 11 seeks a reorganization of its affairs and restructuring of its debts. A mandatory step in this process is for the Debtor to formulate a “Plan of Reorganization.” This plan will outline how the Debtor proposes to restructure its business, pay or discharge its debts with Creditors, and effectively emerge from Chapter 11 as a financially healthy business.
